Lijiang surrounding must experience  

1. Go through the streets and lanes of Dayan Ancient City: look for various lijiang snacks to fill your stomach.  Then go to Lion Rock, climb lion Rock's highest point - Wangu Lou, overlooking the whole old town of Lijiang, if lucky enough to the north can look far to jade Dragon Snow Mountain.  Drop off sierra Leone and head to Mufu for a close look at the Naxi palace in the ancient city, a replica of the Forbidden City.  Return to the old city in the evening, experience the nightlife of the old city in the Square Street, or go to the bar.  

2. Daze in Shuhe Ancient Town: From the bustling lijiang to Shuhe daze, spend an afternoon in a quiet cafe, the most comfortable.  

3. Eat the best spare ribs: In Xiangshan Market, yujie Spare Ribs is famous for its greasy floors, low benches, and diners dressed in ethnic costumes, all of which suggest it's geared toward locals.  It's only a few yuan by taxi, and it's about a five-minute drive from the ancient city.  

4. Take a photo of the reflection of Yulong Snow Mountain: If the weather is good, you can take bus No. 3 and Bus No. 6 from the park to The Cheongxi Reservoir.  There is a path in the middle of the reservoir, which divides the whole reservoir into two halves. There are two arch Bridges and many willows on the path.  On a clear day, the jade Dragon Snow Mountain can be seen reflected in the water
